week 13 of Liga 1

Liga 1, week thirteen was marked with the great BucureÅŸti derby between Dinamo and Steaua that ended in a 1-1 draw. Former AEK Athens striker Pantelis Kapetanos scored eight minutes from the start to give Dorinel Munteanu’s RoÅŸ-AlbaÅŸtrii the 1-0 lead. However with seven minutes remaining Romanian international Andrei Cristea brought the match level to the delight of the Dinamo supporters.

Week 14 of Liga 1 gets underway with the first two matches on Friday and the balance on Saturday including Rapid BucureÅŸti – Steaua BucureÅŸti. With the clubs only a point apart, this great rivalry takes on a special importance. Beyond that, the top of the table will be decided by FC TimiÅŸoara welcoming Dinamo BucureÅŸti and with both clubs playing as the best in the league it will be a great match to watch.
