‘Câinii RoÅŸii opened the scoring with under-21 Tricolorii Gabriel Torje scoring on the hour. GalaÅ£i had a great chance to win it with a penalty call late in the match but Zhivko Zhelev’s effort wasn’t up to the occasion and Dinamo had the victory.
TimiÅŸoara 2

The Alb-VioleÅ£ii benefited from Slovakian international Marián ÄŒiÅ¡ovský two goals at twenty-seven and thirty-two minutes before for Didi brought one back for the defending champions. However they were unable to break through again and TimiÅŸoara’s climb up the table continued.

Marius OnofraÅŸ scored at the half-hour mark to give Urziceni the victory.

Romanian capped Florin Costea gave Craiova four minutes after the start with Michael Baird of the Australian contingency doubling the margin twenty-four minutes later. After a break a flurry of goals were scored starting eight minutes into the half as fellow ‘Roo Joshua Rose made it 3-0 before Ovidiu Hoban drew one back for MediaÅŸ a minutes later. Skipper Dorel Stoica made it 4-1 from the spot at the fifty-eighth minute with Joshua Rose adding the second of the day with seventeen minutes remaining. Mircea Voicu added a consolation goal three minutes into added time to bring the match to its final score.

The horrible string for the Roş-Albaştrii continued with a draw against bottom of the table Gloria Buzau. Tricolorii Bănel Nicoliţă scored five minutes after the break but Cătălin Vlaicu punished the lack-luster effort of Steaua Bucureşti leveling it eight minutes later. Agonizingly for the Roş-Albaştrii fans Bănel Nicoliţă was unable to convert from the spot as time expired.

The son of Tricolorii manager Victor Piţurcă, Alexandru, scored for Minerii with fifteen minutes remaining.

Youssouf Kamara opened the scoring for the Alb-Violeţii thirteen minutes after the start with nineteen year-old Cătălin Doman adding the second. Adrian Iordache added the third, deep into added time.

Rapid BucureÅŸti 2
Rapid Bucureşti came from behind for an important victory. Liviu Ganea opened the scoring eight minutes before the break to give Otopeni the lead. João Paulo Andrade leveled the match after the break before Juliano Spadacio gave Rapid the lead with twenty six minutes remaining.
